Hessel Marina at dusk
My last evening of my last visit to our family house in Hessel. Selling it after 29 years was bitter-sweet. After Dad passed then Mom, the house was still a favorite place for me to visit but too far for my siblings and I to make it there regularly from our homes in the lower peninsula. The Hessel Marina was a place we frequented. This image embodies the calm and quiet of the area, the dusk calling an end to the day and this chapter of our lives.
